Report a link, or ask for removal
Upshard embeds videos; it never hosts, mirrors, or re-uploads them. Every lesson credits its creator by name with a link to their channel, and playback happens on YouTube’s player through youtube-nocookie.com, so views and watch time land with the creator exactly as they would anywhere else.
If it’s your video and you want it gone
Say so and we remove it — no negotiation, no form, no justification needed. Open an issue on the repository with the lesson URL, or email the address listed there. Removal is the default response, and we will replace the lesson’s video rather than leave a gap.
If a link is broken or wrong
Dead, private, region-locked, or embedding-disabled videos are caught weekly by an automated check, which opens an issue listing them. What automation cannot catch is a video that still plays but teaches the wrong thing, is out of date, or simply is not the best explanation available. Those reports are the most useful ones we get.
Every lesson carries a report control, and a pull request that swaps in a better video is welcome — seeCONTRIBUTING.md for what makes a good pick.
On curricula
Upshard’s roadmap structures are designed here. Public roadmaps elsewhere inform which topics exist and roughly in what order — facts, not protected expression — and no third party’s lesson text, descriptions, or curated link lists are reproduced. If you believe something here crosses that line, tell us specifically what and where, and we will take it down while we look.
